The primary objective of this methodology workshop is to better prepare group members for their research through the enhancement of their knowledge of research methods, study designs and field research. The workshop should help them properly tailor their methods to their specific questions and research goals and to the exigencies of their specific research sites.
At the end of this workshop, network members should have a better understanding of the techniques and tools of research. Their concepts should be better defined and their epistemological and theoretical approaches better clarified. Network members should be in possession of multiple recommendations on how to pursue and improve their work and they should possess improved proposals to put to work in the field. Groups should have acquired the dynamics of integrated networks and should be in possession of detailed research plans for implementation.
