Programme Manager (Monitoring & Evaluation)
‘Femi Balogun supports monitoring and evaluation functions in CODESRIA. He is a researcher and Impact expert whose work contributes broadly to implementing projects, advancing evidence for development policy making and supporting knowledge production in Higher Education Institutions, with a track record of setting up M&E departments in NGOs and Think Tanks in parts of Africa. He was recently recognized in the global 100 under 40 list of the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD), 2021 Edition
Over the years ‘Femi’s work has supported program evaluation, development communication, knowledge production and evidence-based policy engagement on projects/programs in collaboration with development partners including the MasterCard Foundation, Ford Foundation, INCLUDE, Citi Foundation, Hewlett Packard Foundation, with footprints in parts of Africa.
‘Femi holds a master’s degree in Security, Leadership and Society from the prestigious King’s College London, a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos, and a BSc in International Relations from Covenant University. He is an alumni of the African Leadership Centre (ALC) Nairobi/UK, a 2015 fellow at the International Peace Institute (IPI) New York, and a member of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).
