Il est l\u2019auteur, entre autres, de \u00ab\u00a0Colonial Legacy, State Intervention and Secessionism\u00a0: Paradoxical National Identities of the Ogaden and Ishaq Clans in Ethiopia\u00a0\u00bb in Society, State and Identity in African History (2008)\u00a0; \u2018Fundamental Causes of the Ethio- Somalia Conflicts and Wars\u2019\u00a0; en amharique publi\u00e9 dans le num\u00e9ro sp\u00e9cial de WITNESS (2012) et \u00ab\u00a0Ethiopia\u2019s Elusive Quest for an Outlet to the Sea\u00a0: The Case of Haud-Zeila Exchange\u00a0\u00bb (Actes de la 18e Conf\u00e9rence Internationale des \u00e9tudes Ethiopienne) (2013).
