Ramola Ramtohul is a Associate Professor in the Department of Social Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Mauritius. She has a PhD in Gender Studies from the African Gender Institute at the University of Cape Town. Her research interests are in gender, politics and citizenshi in multicultural contexts, privatisation in the African higher education sector and high net worth migration and citizenship.
