This position is categorized as belonging to the senior staff of the Council and as such is filled based on international competitive recruitment. The successful candidate will work as a member of the Secretariat under the overall supervision of the Executive Secretary of the Council within the TGF programme.
The activities of the TGF programme revolve around convening training institutes, offering grants and fellowships that support institution-based academic engagements geared towards building skills and capacity of early and middle career academics in African universities.
