lfe Institute of Advanced Studies invites applications from doctoral and postdoctoral scholars from any part of the world to attend the fifth institute. The summer institute, hosted annually on the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University, lle-lfe, Nigeria, will this year be held virtually on Zoom. The goal of the institute is to facilitate and foster innovative research among young scholars in the academy, particularly those in the humanities and social sciences, by exposing them to relevant theories, discourses, methods and pedagogies.
lfe Summer Institute has an international faculty and engages a wide range of themes and issues designed to stimulate and deepen the understanding of research, teaching and service missions in the academy.
The 2021 summer institute will focus on the challenges of doing research, creative epistemology and new forms of teaching in light of the new normal, which necessitates adjusting to the constraints of the pandemic
VENUE: Virtually on Zoom
ELIGIBILITY:
1.Doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in the humanities and social sciences
2.Open to everyone, regardless of nationality.

• One-page abstract of current /proposed research (not more than 500 words)
• Two-page abridged curriculum vitae
