Bassirou Wagne obtained a Brevet de technicien supérieur (BTS) in Computer Science at Dakar Bourguiba University (UDB) and a Bachelor in Multimedia Design at Bambey University (UB). He did also a master degree in Data transmission and information security (IT Security) at the University Cheikh Anta Diop. After several internships at the Computer Networks and Telecommunications Laboratory (ESP/UCAD), at RTS and also with a Non Governmental Organization, The Village Pilote. He joined CODESRIA in August 25, 2010. Bassirou is a Senegalese.
