Biographie / Biography: Currently pursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Ongoing 2nd Year student), Daystar University, Kenya. Coursework includes anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, fundamentals of nursing and community health nursing. Currently undertaking supervised clinical placements in medical and maternity units.
Undergraduate nursing student engaged in academic coursework and clinical training. Participates in supervised hospital placements and community outreach programmes. Developing skills in patient care, maternal health support and culturally sensitive nursing practice.
Participated in university-led community health initiatives in rural and peri-urban areas. Assisted in maternal and child health clinics, supporting antenatal and postnatal care, basic patient assessments and vaccination drives. Participated in health education campaigns, providing guidance on nutrition, hygiene, reproductive health, and disease prevention. Collaborated with professional nurses and community health volunteers to deliver primary healthcare services to underserved communities.
