Doctoral Program in International Education Development Graduate School of Education, Peking University

The Graduate School of Education is starting a brand-new, four-year, full-time, English taught doctoral programme at the Peking University in International Education Development (IED), catering for international (non-Chinese citizen) students. As the focus of IED shifts from that of targeting access to education to that of ensuring its continued quality and equality, and ensuring global education systems produce the relevant skills that are required by the economy, there has never been a more pertinent time to establish this program.

The programme is generously funded by the Chinese government and will provide full, generous scholarships for successful candidates from the African continent and all other Belt and Road nations. The application window is open from 30th September 2019 until March 31st 2020 although we’d suggest students apply sooner rather than later as the admission is on a rolling basis.
