Khedija Mokeddem is Algerian. She is currently Research Director at the Centre National de Recherche en Anthropologie Sociale et Culturelle (CRASC) in Oran, Algeria. She was also an associate researcher at the Laboratoire Méditerranéen de Sociologie (LAMES) at the University of Aix-Marseille in France from 2016 to 2023. She obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oran in Algeria, and subsequently obtained a habilitation to supervise research in Clinical Psychology in June 2016. In the course of her career, she has accumulated a wealth of experience as a consulting psychologist, head of the observation and education service in an open environment, and teacher in psycho-education. She has a particular interest in marginalized youth, young people’s life projects, social reintegration, couples, families, family conflicts and socialization institutions. In addition to her involvement in research projects, she has published numerous articles on the psychological and sociological dimensions of the personality of the delinquent teenager and other topics related to youth, health.
