Statement issued by the Arab Council for the Social Sciences

On 20^th October 2023, our sister organization, the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) issued a statement on the genocidal war conducted by Israel colonial authorities in the Gaza Strip. The statement contextualizes the ongoing brutality as a continuation of the 1948 Nakba. It documents the colonial, even Apartheid, context of the Palestinian experience and calls on “Arab and international academic groups and institutions and university unions to stand firmly against Israeli settler colonial system.”
