Call for Guest Editors – Method(e)s : African Review of Social Science Methodology/ Revue africaine de méthodologie

The Editors of Method(e)s : African Review of Social Science Methodology/ Revue africaine de méthodologie des sciences sociales is soliciting guest editor(s) who are interested in editing collections of articles on the themes listed bellow. Prospective proposers are welcome to discuss their ideas informally with the Editors. The guest editor will work closely with the Editor in chief to manage the journal issue process.

This is a valuable opportunity for african researchers to gain experience of all aspects of peer-reviewed journal publication, as well as developing interaction with peers who have similar research interests. They should be open enough to accommodate a range of disciplinary, methodological and/or geographical areas.

Guest editors are to be responsible in collaboration with the editors for :
•writing and disseminating a Call for Papers for a issue,
•follow the peer-review process,
•writing an editorial,
•avoiding any conflict of interest,
•the final selection of papers,
•commissioning reviews of books of relevance to the theme,
•selecting and appointing reviewers for the submitted and/or invited papers, strictily in line with Method(e)s policy,
•assuring that the guidelines and deadlines are respected so as to facilitate the production of the issue,
