Africa Media Review : Call for papers
Africa Media Review (AMR) provides a forum for research and debate on communication theory, policy, and practice in Africa. The journal seeks to raise awareness and understanding about the interconnections between media, communication and social processes in Africa, and how these shape and are affected by policies and practices at global, regional and local levels. It welcomes contributions on all aspects of communication informed by or relevant to the African experience.
Africa Media Review is a collaborative publication between the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) based in Dakar, Senegal and the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Nairobi, Kenya. It is published two times a year and covers articles in English and in French.
Published since 1986, Africa Media Review is dedicated to the publication of original research as well as manuscripts on best practices which advance communication policy in Africa. Essays using various theoretical and methodological perspectives as well as book reviews on all aspects of communication are welcome. Authors should submit their electronic manuscripts (20 pages) to email@example.com. Manuscripts should include key terms, short bio of authors. Please use the APA style [no footnotes, but end notes].
